Overview
I did project work so every day was different. Due to the nature of my team I did not do any of the core functions of the team. My normal day was 9-5 with maybe 3-4 meetings and mainly individual work for example on a project or a presentation I was doing
Skills
I have improved my powerpoint skills but that's about it for hard skills. Soft skills have greatly developed ie networking, time management etc
Responsibilities
Yes I was totally in charge of a project I did and for a presentation I did I did about 75% of the work.
Support & Guidance
I was given a decent amount. I could always contact my line manager or buddy when needed and they always gave me plenty of time and answered all my questions.
Culture
Culture was very supportive everyone wanted me to do well and was happy to answer any questions and organise calls etc.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed almost all of it. The start was a bit slow as my line manager adjusted to having me in the team but after that I was given meaningful work and I very much enjoyed it.
Yes
Apply early and do plenty research for how to perform well in the assessment centre.
