Overview
Daily tasks included sending out emails, joining meetings (daily and weekly), and working on smaller projects. An individual project did include working with statistics from the previous data of the department to see which areas were having the most failed changes and possible solutions.
Skills
During this time, I was able to build my leadership skills by holding some of my own meetings and presenting my findings from my projects. I also was able to learn more about the banking industry through meetings and 1 on 1's
Responsibilities
I was depended one to send out a lot of daily and weekly information, along with working on real-life problems.
Support & Guidance
They were very supportive and helped me to easily integrate into teams. My line manager provided me with a lot of people that I was able to schedule meetings and learn more about what they do and the banking industry. I also was giving daily stand-up calls which were friendly casual chats, these were very welcoming and made it easy to ask for help too.
Culture
Amazing, I had a great experience and lots of support in my role. I really enjoyed the work I did and the mindset of the workers there, they were motivative but also helped to push me to reach my full potential
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship and am hoping to go back after my degree
