Overview
Building out AWS accounts, mainly using a command line interface. Another aspect was to contribute to this CLI, adding a missing step to it. Finally, worked on an automated validation suite to test AWS accounts (deliverables)
Skills

Responsibilities
Yes, I was left to figure things out for myself frequently and was trusted to build out some deliverables alone as well as contributing to a tool used by the whole team.
Support & Guidance
I was trained essentially full time for about 3 weeks, lots of pair programming was extremely helpful
Culture
It was a great mix of work and fun, everyone was very comitted to their work but equally to developing relationships with team members and looking out for one another. The atmosphere was fast paced but not stressful.
Your Impressions
I loved it. The people were fantastic, the job was fun, I developed so many new skills and gained some valuable life experience.
