Overview
• Completed a 13-month placement with the BMW Group, within the BMW Motorrad marketing team • Managed the national BMW Motorrad UK and Irish websites and liaised with international headquarters • Worked with Financial Services to ensure BMW Motorrad had an effective online presence on the BMW Financial Services website • Liaised with various agencies to deliver a strong CRM programme • Constructed agency briefs to aid in the online and offline content generation process • Supported the creative and functional appraisal of all online projects to ensure outputs offered optimum user experience, generated leads and complied with CI guidelines • SAP Administration including and not limited to retailer payments and internal sundry payments • Helped ensure BMW Motorrad had the best possible presence at all major motorcycle shows and events
Skills
I have learnt loads of new skills during my year. Particularly, how to use various content management systems CMS, communication skills at events, SAP, teamwork and presentation.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was given a large amount of responsibility, I was given entire ownership of the BMW Motorrad UK and Ireland national websites.
Support & Guidance
My role as an intern was unique to me, a lot of my responsibilities only I knew how to do, therefore support was sometimes limited
Culture
The company culture is great, everyone is really nice and I met lots of great people. Its like one big family
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement, despite the pandemic I had a very positive experience. I learnt so much and it showed me that I really want to go into a marketing career.
