Skills
-Team working -Remote working -Advanced excel -Communication -Organisation/ time management -Networking -Problem solving
Responsibilities
Yes, a lot of responsibility was given however due to the technical nature of my work I was expected to report to another colleague at all times
Support & Guidance
A lot, the graduate I was reporting to was an amazing mentor, she was so supportive with any issues I had and was a great person to guide me through my internship.
Culture
Really friendly and welcoming, it was definitely daunting working for a large company on a remote basis but I was quickly made to feel at home. Everyone was very approachable and a conscious effort was made to get everyone socialising with each other rather than focussing on work 24/7
Your Impressions
I highly enjoyed my internship - I wish it could have been in person but even though circumstances didn’t allow for this, I found it a highly rewarding experience. I made so many new friends while building on invaluable skills for the future
Yes
Be authentic - the people working at Lloyds value those that are confident in themselves and passionate about what they do.
