Overview
• Supporting children to improve their attendance, behavioural and curriculum needs. • 1:1 and group support with Year 1 and Year 4 children in a primary school located in an underprivileged area. • Supporting and assisting children with SEN needs.
Skills
I have developed my time-management, communication, empathetic, creativity, resilience, team working and organisational skills
Responsibilities
I had my own weekly target to achieve with my focus group of students for their attendance, behavioural and curriculum development
Support & Guidance
Every team had their own Impact Officer, who was very helpful for not only professional but also personal development. The office team also worked very hard, and along with that were very kind, understanding and empathetic towards each other. We had our individual PDP's which used to be reviewed every 6 months.

Professional as well as very friendly, inspiring for growth!
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year with City Year UK. As it was something I wanted to do, to work with children, to make a difference in the community and City Year offered me that every chance to work towards it and to make me a better individual
