Overview
Working in a team as mentors we went to lessons with our designated mentees to assist them with any class based issues they had. We stayed for the entire school day and took part in daily activities such as lunch time duties, assemblies and duties in the morning and evenings. Took part in after school clubs and lunch time clubs.

Responsibilities
A lot of responsibility that was very useful for my career development as the skills were very transferable

A lot of support from the City Year team and the Impact Officer you are given who was in school with us for 2 days a week.
Culture
Very interesting company culture that is very lively and is committed to the development of education and children who need support.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the placement and would definitely recommend to other people. Your team working skills will certainly improve and the people you work with and students are the highlight.
Yes
I would tell them to stay organised at all times as this will really help, especially if you have an assignment to submit. I would encourage them to get involved in many things as possible and enjoy the year.
