Overview
Two placements in different departments within Mechanical Engineering, given real responsibility for managing and delivering projects from day one including CAD, coding, testing and manufacturing. Opportunity to interact with people from across all aspects of the business.
Skills
Developed industry specific skills that will contribute towards attaining chartership. Gained good experience working in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
Yes, for managing/delivering parts of larger projects and smaller individual ones.
Support & Guidance
Huge amount of support when needed, but also encouraged to seek answers myself, very well managed.
Culture
Very friendly, was more relaxed than I was expecting which ultimately encouraged a more productive atmosphere.
