Overview
Individual calculations, training webinars, meetings with client teams, work for bigger client projects
Skills
I developed my communication and organisation skills further. I also learnt to balance studying with client work.
Responsibilities
Yes - I would carry out whole individual calculations that would be sent out to a member of a pension scheme. I had plenty of tasks and autonomy with them.
Support & Guidance
I received lots of support and help - we were assigned a buddy who we could go to if we were stuck on anything and the rest of the office were more than happy to answer our questions too.
Culture
Everyone was very friendly and I was invited to plenty of socials outside of work.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship - the work was engaging and the London team were very friendly, welcoming and supportive. I have accepted a job offer to start in September 2022 because I really loved working there.
Yes
For the assessment centre and video interviews, just be yourself and try and stay calm. Make sure you have some examples of challenging times in your university or work so that you aren't put too much on the spot when asked.
