Overview
I was part of a team of 5 people, 2 for frontend and 3 for backend. My responsability was, as Java backend developer, to work on a microservice called GeoBridge. We would have daily stand-ups and regular meetings with our team manager. We would use tools to keep track of the progress and have a clear plan of the next steps. We used the Spring Framework and communicated with the frontend through different endpoints .
Skills
I have learned a lot of new skills, such as what it takes to work on a microservice, but also what the Spring Framework represented. In addition to this, I improved my programming skills in Java.
Responsibilities
I consider that I had a fair amount of responsability.
Support & Guidance
We always had some persons to ask questions and double check everything.
Culture
Amazing! Everybody is very friendly and the atmosphere is in general very nice :)
