    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • A lot - I had a buddy who was ready to answer any questions I had (which was helped by the fact he was a year into his work with Deloitte, meaning he had recent experience I could learn from). My line manager and team within Retail Conduct were also fantastic alongside my buddy, and I felt no question I asked would be looked down upon and they were very invested in my career development.

  • 8. What advice would you give to others applying to Deloitte
  • If you’re at university or applying out of school, try and get involved in as many societies or activities as possible - it’s amazing after you realise it doesn’t matter what degree you do, but instead an important aspect is what skills you’ve developed from specific extracurricular activities.
