Overview
As I am a campus ambassador working remotely, I am involved with social media posts and interacting with my university students and members of the faculty to raise awareness of the ICAEW and the ACA qualification
Skills
I have learnt about communication with a team and working towards shared goals and objectives meeting those standard to a high degree. I have also developed my communication skills by conversing with my fellow students and the faculty, furthermore, I have gained a deeper insight into the world of accounting and the ICAEW
Business Insight
Through the training and the role itself I have learnt about the business itself, the life and role of a chartered accountant and all the opportunities available in the field. I have also learnt the crucial distinction that, opposed to my previous view, chartered accountants do more then sit behind a desk performing a laborious and repetitive job, instead they focus on real business issues, testify in courts and help businesses.
Culture
The company culture and experience is amazing. The team is incredibly responsive and helpful, even with sometimes my “silly” questions they were very receptive and always aided me when I struggled or raised a question. Simply lovely people and an amazing place to work at. It is a team I am proud to be apart of
Your Impressions
I am really enjoying the experience and the role itself, always have from day one and even throughout the training.
Yes
I would encourage people my speak passionately and make sure to present their personality in their interview. This is a company which really cares about you and your experiences
