The Role
i enjoyed the structure of the placement and they gave you real opportunities for responsibility
I believe I was very fortunate in the teams I got to work in, although I respected my colleagues i am sure i would call them friends now.
when in contact with Head Office the support was fantastic, however i feel the regions could and should have done a little more, often felt a bit alone.
Very very busy, but in a good way. I would have hated a placement where allot wasn't expected from me. although Lidl expect allot, they give allot back.
If you work hard enough and pick the correct modules you could be running your own store.
The placement offered a tailored experience where you can pick which modules suit your academic needs.
The Company
From alcohol License to health and safety awards everything you could need.
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Although it is quite hush hush, i hope to return to Lidl.
The Culture
Five times a year a meet in London.
As Lidl try to accommodate you where ever you decided to work, so no different to normal.
Lidl is all over the country so could be brilliant depending on where you are placed.
relative, many different social opportunities.
