Overview
1. Promote the ICAEW, ACA, and the ICAEW's online resources through social media posts (e.g. LinkedIn). 2. Remain in contact with student engagement representative. 3. Build working relationship with careers team and academic staff. 4. Support ICAEW's student engagement team with associated events.

I have learnt and developed a plethora of transferable skills that will be of great use to me further in my career, some of which include: 1. Collaboration and people skills. 2. Responsibilities
I am given plenty of responsibility in this role, which I feel is an excellent part of the experience. You are given lots of responsibility over when and how you work, which offers lots of flexibility, and the guidance you receive from the student engagement team/your representative is extremely useful.
Support & Guidance
I've received a lots of support and guidance on this role. The student engagement team are always there to help when you need them and they provide extremely useful advice, and I find that receiving frequent feedback is very motivating.
Culture
The culture is great, student engagement representatives are really friendly which is motivating - there is a real sense of community. The atmosphere is very supportive and you know everyone wants the best for each other.
Your Impressions
I'm really enjoying this role and would highly recommend it to anyone interested, it is very flexible so you can fit it around your studies which is a bonus. It's been extremely useful in terms of not only career development, but personal development.
Yes
Be yourself and enjoy the process. It's a straight forward process and you receive a lot of guidance along the way! Do plenty of research and think about what motivates you.
