Responsibilities
Yes and no, there were opportunities to participate in client calls and lots of exposure to aid an understanding of financial concepts.
Support & Guidance
A lot, there was a wide range of support available, from an initial buddy and a senior member of team who you are buddied up with. The HR is also extremely supportive and there is also a dedicated intern manager who is not directly involved with the desks to help give a neutral opinion if needed. On the desks, all line managers and teams were willing to help and answer any questions if needed
