Overview
Analysing AB Test results, meeting with Product Managers to discuss next steps and find any opportunities through general deep-dive analysis. Presenting all results to give an actionable outcome for the relevant Stakeholders to act on.
Skills
Communication skills greatly increased. Large use of Adobe Analytics. Learnt a bit of R but more self taught. Exposure to Tableau.
Responsibilities
Managed an internal tool development and guided the rest of the team in how to approach working on the tool.
Support & Guidance
Lots of guidance and support initially. Once settled guidance and support were withdrawn but were still available if needed.
Culture
Very strong push for inclusivity and collaboration, however often seems over the top and forced. Lots of changes from higher up the management ladder which trickles down to impact day-to-day work by causing reshuffles in the working team, disrupting the workflow every few months. Overall everyone is very friendly and relatively positive.
Your Impressions
Overall enjoyable, was able to contribute to actionable work that impacted the wider business.
Yes
When interviewing be yourself and be honest about your strengths and weaknesses, they aren't looking for someone who can do everything, you are part of a team for a reason. Figure out what part of the job you enjoy and let your manager know, they will give you more work around that area as there is little point doing work that you find dull or boring if you can do other work.
