Overview
Store involved learning the behind the scenes of how an efficient store worked to gain further skills on customer service. Logistics have you an overview of how stock is taken in and distributed to the stores. Supply chain involved managing orders from suppliers as well as how much needs to be distributed to fill stores. HR allowed you to experience what the company looks for when recruiting
Skills
The placement gave me so many personal skills, boosts you confidence and challenges you to become stronger and better and utilise the skills you’ve learnt from university.
Responsibilities
In store you build up to shift manager level which allows you to run the store in a shift which gives you huge amount of responsibility from managing people to cashing up and closing the store.
Support & Guidance
My regional training consultants were amazing, always supporting and checking in. They met with me every month to create a personal development plan to keep challenging and push myself to be better.
Culture
As soon as you walk in everyone is so welcoming and supportive. People value you in the company as a placement student.

I learnt so much from the placement and met so many supportive and inspiring people which i am grateful for. It gives you an insight into a global successful business which is greatly useful for future careers.
