  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

    • I spent a week each in two departments, firstly in disputes and then in corporate. I completed different legal tasks, attended departmental presentations, networking events and socials. I also participated in a pro bono project.

    • I have improved my skills on working in a commercial, professional environment. My ability to network and ask questions has also been improved. I know feel that I know much more about the legal industry as well.

  • 4. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

    • Everyone seemed very approachable and friendly. If I needed help I was not afraid to ask, and I was impressed that partner's would take time out of their day to speak to you on a one-on-one basis.

  • 5. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I have greatly enjoyed my vacation scheme. Being able to work on live matters that I have read about in the news was incredible and I was made to feel that the the work I was doing was valued.
