The Role
It has been an interesting placement and it was really beneficail to have 2 6 month placements in to completely different areas of the company to gainan understanding of how the company operated and increase my skill set
My colleagues have been great really friendly and very helpful when I needed them.
My managers have been fantastic, any questions I have had, they have been happy to take me through it and explain. They gave me good feedback that I could work on and improve my working methods etc.
For the main part, I have been relatively busy and enjoyed the work I am doing, however, there have been perioeds where I didn't have a lot of work to do or had to do a lot of data uploading.
Quite a lot, both roles have been quite customer facing so I was representing the company. In my first 6 month placement, I had the responsibility to make monetary decisions which could involve substancial amounts.
I think my placements have helped with my influecing and negotiating skills and increased my confidence and assertivenss. My I.T skills have also improved massively which I really value.
The Company
Even though the owrkplace is very professional, the atmosphere is great, people are very friendly and you can have a joke.
For the main part, it was fine but sometimes I felt in the dark and would have appreciated being told things a bit more in advance.
We had courses just for the placement students which was great fuun and helped me gain more confidence, especially in my presenting skills. I would have liked there to be a bit more indepartment training to help me with some of my roles.

I would certainly consider coming back, Peugeot is a great company to work for and we are at a very exciting point with the regeneration of a lot of our cars as well as exciting new ones
The Culture
There are roughly 16 palcement students within PSA Peugeot Citroen and it has really made the year. Great friends who I have a lot of fun and banter with.
Pretty cheap, I found a cheap room to rent with some uni friends, Coventry is really cheap to go out in and if you have a railcard, Birmingham is a cheap and short train ride away
Coventry is a fun night out but not quite on the same level as some of the bigger cities. However, it is really easy to get to Birmingham/London by Car/train if you wanted to.
There is a socail comittee that organises events outside of work and collegues organise weekly ffotball games. Once you get to know people in the office, you'll generally find a group that does something regularly that you are interested in.
