Overview
The three days consisted of several talks and presentations from different divisions within the firm including Private Equity, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset. There were also talks on the culture at Fidelity, their sustainable investing approach and their CSR initiatives. Each day started with a networking session with peers, and on the final day, there was a specific time slot allotted to networking.

Business Insight
It was extremely useful to hear directly from each division. Each day was followed by an activity/presentation to give a small insight into what sort of work each division might undergo and this was a good flavour and made it clear whether or not that would be something I would enjoy.
Culture
Everyone was very welcoming and willing to answer any questions that we might have and to follow up with them if we wanted. There was a clear emphasis made on ensuring that employees' well-being was taken care of and that the firm was always willing to making accommodations as necessary.
Your Impressions
I found that some of the talks that covered topics that I was not so interested in were quite dull. It really didn't help that the whole experience was online which entails its own problems. It may have been nice to receive a branded notepad or pen or something from Fidelity which might help bridge that gap between being in person and being online.
Yes
Because the application did not require a video interview or any interview, it is very important to have a strong CV and to practice as much as you can before taking the numerical and psychometric test!
