Overview
Insight into equities, fixed incomes, multi assets, doing group research projects for 3 days on those areas and discovering what interests us the most in the financial world. Further insight into ESG, CSR, Presentation skills, and further opportunities at Fidelity. Working in teams and listening to speakers from Fidelity (8am-5pm, through the duration of the 3-day programme)
Skills
what i'm most interested in terms of equities, fixed incomes, and multi assets. Presentation skills which we got to practice through the 3 days when we were presenting our team's finding's on the companies we looked at and compared.
Business Insight
Insightful, useful, no question was a stupid question. It was extremely interactive and it was a pleasant environment which encouraged you to participate and contribute. Had the chance to speak and listen to professionals from all sectors of Fidelity.
Culture
Very friendly, open to questions, the speakers took the time to explain what we didn't understand or clarify the information on tasks and around the tasks knowledge.
Your Impressions
The networking opportunities both at the start of each day to interact with our peers, and the networking opportunities and sessions throughout the programme. They made it clear from the start that the programme was for us, not a competitive few days where we had to compete with each for some role. The culture of the programme invited collaboration and allowed us all to get to know each other and make new friends.
Yes
Be compassionate and friendly. Show your interest, and try to do well on the assessments.
