The Role
As I was the first intern in this role, I got to mould the placement to more of what I wanted to do :)
I made great friends and was told on numerous occasions that they do not know what they would have done without my help
She gave a good amount of support, but also mostly left it to the other girls int he team to let me know what/ when needed doing.
It did vary a lot. I am not going to lie, there were times I was manically stressfully busy, and there were times when I was twiddling my thumbs. However during the quiet times there was always something to do, and during the hectically busy times I knew that it was the same for the whole team, as that is just the nature of the industry!
As the placeent went on, I was given more and more responsibility, but I also knew that I always had people to ask if I needed help.
This experience has been invaluable!!
The Company
The team know when to be serious, but a lot of the time it was fun and good banter.
As this was the first year for my particular internship, there were slight problems that needed ironing out, however overall it went smoothly and I think years to come will only get more and more seamless :)
There was a lot of essential, compulsory trainnig that had to be completed, and a few training days organised for example "what makes kids tick", which were fascinating. But there wasn't the budget to send us on personal choices of training.

Staff Sales/Staff Shop
It does depend on what you would like to do, but I would happily work for the company again!
The Culture
Pretty good, but self-organised.
London is going to be expensive...
Regular Friday evenings spent in the Union Bar right on site, a few nice local pubs and fairly easy access to the clubs and bars of Hammersmith and central London
A fair bit!
