Global Data Spring Intern Review

We were given an insight into the variety of roles available at Bloomberg, as well as an introduction into the company's values and non-professional activities. We were also provided the opportunity to experience the types of tasks that a Bloomberg employee would face in their job through a range of activities.

I developed the skills of collaboration and team work, I also refined my ability to work well under pressure and I was exposed to a range of new technical skills.

Bloomberg gave an exceedingly thorough and comprehensive overview of the potential roles available. This was very valuable as it gave clear insight into what direction I may want to take should I be offered a full time role with the company.

The team leaders and employees that we networked with were extremely friendly and welcoming, for the short period of time at Bloomberg, I was given the opportunity to interact with a number of people who each provided unique and valuable insights into the company. The atmosphere is friendly and collaborative, and the effort that went into making the interns feel comfortable is unmatched.

I found the insight a highly enjoyable experience. The opportunities I was given were highly valuable and gave a real insight into the company. The interview process was extensive, however, I found that this was completely worth it based on the invaluable knowledge I gained from the internship.
