Overview
The two day insight consisted of presentations and interactive sessions. It was valuable to gain an insight into the firm and learn about the culture there. What stood out for me was the Alternative disputes resolution workshop and shadowing a trainee for the afternoon. We also had a networking social in the evening and plenty of other opportunities to talk with the employers at HSF.
Skills
I have developed my communicative skills, with both peers and the trainees/associates/partners at the firm. We had an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the different roles.
Business Insight
We had two departmental career fairs which was insightful and useful in exploring the different seats available. Shadowing a trainee for the afternoon showed a deeper insight into the everyday work.
Culture
