Overview
During the three days, I had the chance to meet and talk to people from across the business. It was an inspiring experience to learn more about the business and learn more about KPMG and the variety of opportunities available. During the last day, I had the chance to be interviewed aswell as taking part in a group exercise.
Skills
During one of the activities as a group we had to present to a senior manager, after receiving feedback this helped develop my presentation skills. I also received some coding skill during the digital upskilling activity.
Business Insight
Learning and understanding all the business roles available allowed me to fully understand the vital role that KPMG plays in its industry. It also allowed me to understand why KPMG is such a globally recognised company and why it is respected in the industry.
Culture
During the programme I met multiple employees in different departments, and it was clear to see that KPMG embraces diversity and inclusion, I also learnt about the different company wide networks that allows and champions diversity within the business. KPMG enables employees to support their local communities and charities, with allocated time off for these activities.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme! It was fun to interact and network with other candidates aswell as the KPMG staff. I learnt more that I would’ve imagined after the company, the business, and the industry it operates in. Would definitely recommend!

Be curious, ask questions to show and display motivation. Be a team player, collaboration is key to any successful business. Do your best to provide your opinion and build on others’ ideas.
