Overview
The insight scheme involved a series of talks from people from leadership positions in the firm. They starred by introducing us to the firms culture, aims, practice groups and then switched the focus to innovation and the future of law. Throughout the sessions great emphasis was placed upon ESG and pro bono with some very moving case studies retold to us. Overall, it was amazing and particularly seeing real leaders from the firm.
Skills
I have mostly developed my knowledge of the firm and its culture. There was a group exercise which encouraged communication and inclusivity which was great to see. Apart from that it was really about learning more about the firm.
Business Insight
It was particularly in depth in regards to the firms work, culture and opportunities. Some great explanations from the graduate recruitment team as to next steps and secondment opportunities further down the line.
Culture
The company culture was fantastic and especially the other people on the scheme. It was really easy to build connections and have fruitful discussions with others. People were really relaxed and there were plenty of breaks to help us to make conversation.
