Overview
3 day insight program into Technology at Amazon. Both panels and sessions with a mentor and a team & a 6 month mentorship.
Skills
Both soft and hard skills have been worked on during this insight. The panels have been excellent for improving networking skills & applications. The mentor sessions were very productive and taught new CS concepts, and how to apply them practically. This includes bugs, caching, OOP concepts, fetch requests and how to present work during a coding interview, and speak through steps.
Business Insight
Helpful to understand what roles Amazon has and what kind of talent they're looking to fill said roles.
Culture
Very friendly, everyone is approachable, especially the mentors.
