Overview
The insight was very informative and interesting. It involved workshops, question and answer panel sessions and talks with amazonians. It also included technical workshops that were very useful and boost my technical skills. The mentor was very friendly and approachable and we went through many coding challenges together. Overall, great experience with lots of fun things and suggestions to succeed in your future technical interviews. Met nice people and I would gladly recommend this to everyone/

Also some technical skills for example coding challenges, python, the use of certain amazon tools and the technologies required to use those tools for interviews.
Business Insight
I learned many things including: when Amazon.com launched in 1995, it was with the mission “to be Earth’s most customer-centric company.” What does this mean? - a company that obsesses over customers. The actions, goals, projects, programmes and inventions begin and end with the customer at the forefront of our minds. In other words, we start with the customer and work backwards. When we hit on something that is really working for customers, we commit to it in the hope that it will turn into an even bigger success.
Culture
Positive company culture has values that every employee knows by heart. These values and this mission are accessible and branded into all of the company's internal and external communications. Diversity: If everyone in an organization fits the same demographic, that should be a red flag in terms of culture. strong diversity, feedback, and growth and development policies — are far more likely to be able to retain talent. These characteristics help keep people satisfied at work and encourage employees to establish long-term careers with the company.
Your Impressions
It was great enjoyment as everyone showed willingness and ability to collaborate with other teams is something we can all learn from. Thank you for offering up your time to help others do their role better through sharing your knowledge, like sharing your insights with the sales team so they could better understand customer needs and why they love working with us. Great experience that everyone could take place in and apply - no doubt will enjoy it.
Yes
Figure out what you really want to do "This sounds like simple advice," said Beau Higgins, Senior Program Manager, Military Affairs. "But Amazon has more than 30,000 jobs available, and it's important to know which one you really want to do before applying." He explained that just because you held a certain role or responsibility in the past, doesn't necessarily mean you have to find the exact same role at Amazon. "Spend time figuring out what you want to do, not just what you think you should do," said Higgins. You might have skills that would lend themselves to other positions you haven't considered before.
