Business Insight
It helped me get a personal insight into life at a big tech company. They introduced the teams and products they offer and what you can take part in as well as insight into the ease of switching between roles. The key takeaway was the importance of their leadership principles and how this applies to day to day work
Culture
Amazon's company culture encourages their employees to be the best they can possibly be, their range of Affinity groups also makes the atmosphere more diverse and celebrating of people's backgrounds
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed learning more about life as a software engineer at Amazon, and what steps I can take to secure Summer internships. Hopefully, this programme will be in person for future cohorts to increase engagement even further
