Overview
We were presented with a variety of talks including a day in the life of a software development engineer, how the recruitment process works, Amazon's culture, as well as getting to ask questions in a panel discussion with recruiters and interviewers. We were also put into mentoring groups with about 5 other interns. Our mentor gave us coding tasks and guided us throughout.
Skills
As I do not have a very strong coding background, I struggled at first, but my mentor gave me lots of help and guided me throughout all of the tasks. I know have a much stronger understanding of Python.
Business Insight
It was very informative to learn about the vast amount of roles at Amazon. It is also encouraging, as it shows that there are plenty of opportunities for us at Amazon.
Culture
The company has a strong customer obsession culture. They seem to always be being innovative and creative.

I enjoyed it very much, it gave me a good understanding of Amazon's culture, as well as the roles I am able to apply for.
