Overview
The insight was very productive, my team leader, Domantas was very nice and made me feel comfortable, he encouraged everyone to participate and we had a hands on approach to learning how to use hash maps, bfs and dfs, recursion, hacking and a few other things, I would definitely recommend this insight for those looking to get some more knowledge for applications and ask questions about software engineering, all the staff are so welcoming.
Skills
Yes, I have learnt how to use hash maps which I think is really useful, we learnt about tries, which was very new for me. I had my memory of bfs and dfs refreshed and everything taught was very useful.
Business Insight
I think it was a great opportunity as I will be applying for Amazon. It opened my eyes to how many roles Amazon actually has available!
Culture
From the online event it sounds nice and the people seem really nice too, it’s definitely a culture I would appreciate working in.
