Overview
The insight program enables me to get to learn about the overview of the company such as the culture and a day in Amazon. Many present employees would share their experiences at Amazon with us and answer all the questions we asked. There were also many insightful tips for a future career path, helping prepare for the application, specifically for online assessment and interviews. Also, we had technical workshops to learn some technical skills, and discuss with peers to address challenges.
Skills
In terms of non-technical skills, I had the chance to understand the leadership principles through the introduction and explanation from the present Amazon employees. Also, I got an overview of what a company expects us during the application, particularly in the interview, like how to show our passion and how to show our experiences. Technically, I learned the concept of unit tests and had chances to apply it in the program development. Also, I developed my problem-solving and collaboration skills during the workshop.

Yes
You should be familiar with the leadership principles and prepare for the online assessment and the interview. The first step is to apply for the role online and afterwards you will be asked to complete the online assessment which tests your technical knowledge, like programing, algorithms and data structures. The interview consists of two sections non-technical and technical. In the non-technical interview, you should demonstrate your passion and motivation and show how your experiences adhere to the principles.
