Overview
Many talks about Amazon leadership principles. Then we learnt more about the interview process. Finally had technical workshops with software developers. Involved programming leetcode styled questions. On the last day we programmed a simple game in Python.
Skills
Revised a few computer science topics. Listening to what Amazonians wanted in the interview was useful.
Business Insight
Was mainly focused on software engineering, so didn't really hear much about other roles like those involved in business etc. But we had talks from a range of software engineers, each involved in unique, cool projects!
Culture
This was a remote internship. However everyone seemed lovely and supportive.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the insight, however maybe there should be more opportunities connecting with the other interns. I liked how technical it was; many other insight days don't have a lot of these workshops!
Yes
Be confident in yourself - they aren't looking for the top programmers, they are looking for those with passion and potential :)
