The Role
I learnt loads and was given freedom for personal projects and tasks as well as to find my own tasks. It was brilliant to be treated like a real member of the work force.
The man I worked with, was fantastic. He treated me as an equal and we joked at each others expensive and worked together to fix most faults as well as asking each others advice. My colleague trained me up and helped me trust my judgement on several of the faults.
During term time it was fantastic as there was lots to do but during the uni holidays it was quiet and it worked out that i got on with lots of personal projects so it was fine.
There were many occassions when i was left to solve issues, and when it came to radio issues i was pretty much running the show with guidance and my colleague ran the music studios with my help.
I felt i learnt more here than i did in the course so far. (strangely enough the anti-christian lecturer is the one who has made me learn nothing). I came away feeling i could do this as a living.
The Company
We joked and laughed at each other and chatted about both personal and general stuff.
I often found my own work which was fantastic, but they could make it easier to develop personal projects along the way.
The company not so much, but my colleague alot!
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
It has made me question whether i would rather work here then the radio industry but my passion for radio overruns that.
The Culture
The coffee breaks made it possible to get to know other colleagues better.
It works out at average prices. However the placement doesnt pay too well.
I don't really bother with night clubs. I tended to hang out with friends.
Lots. I have a great church here!
