Overview
• Conduct regular customer, competitor and market insight reports for sales and marketing • Support Product team with go-to-market plans for key product launches, product communications and proposition development. • Support in the preparation of marketing communication activity and planning documents, presentations, reports and proposals for marketing initiatives. • Support the team with the execution of marketing activities that drive the growth for the business, supporting the execution of a full spectrum of marketing campaign channels, including but not limited to, SEO, Email, PPC, Paid Social, trade advertising, display advert events and PR. • Execute tactical email campaigns in line with marketing calendar • Supporting on the organisation of internal and external events and the management of agency relationships and sponsorships

Responsibilities
Throughout my placement year I was given a lot of responsibility, taking leads in specific areas of projects as well as being giving my own projects to lead and take initiative on. The experiences ranged across all areas of marketing and product launches.
Support & Guidance
Having daily team calls which allowed us to create a great working relationship between the team, this allowed any concerns/ queries to be raised as well as offering assistance if I had the capacity to do so. Completed a PDP with actions to ensure that I got the most out of my placement with reflection with weekly one to one meetings with my line manager.
Culture
The atmosphere within in the team was very positive and friendly between the team. Working within a collaborative business across all the teams which allows for maximum opportunities and exposure within the business.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year at VWFS | Fleet, it had exceed my expectations of the placement year with giving more opportunities than I though I would've been given. I have been luckily enough to be exposed to multiple different areas of marketing with everyone always being willing to provide any assistance and knowledge
