The Role
Great learning experience and fantastic people
Always difficult to be new in a close group but over time I felt more and more welcomed
Great guidance and feedback throughout the internship
Sometimes extremely busy but sometimes I had nothing to do so I could use the time to read up on some material and look through old presentations
As you are an intern without any FSA exams taken you can not speak to any customers or do any real pricing. However I did spend time on some big projects that got sent out to clients, where I basically did all the work but my supervisors had the responsibility.
It is more the other way around, my studies assisted me in the work I did.
The Company
Great atmosphere! Friendly and professional
Nothing to complain about
Had 1 week training and then 9 weeks with the desk. I think that is a perfect balance
Subsidised Canteen
Company Car
Starting fulltime this summer
The Culture
A nice mixture of personalities from all over Europe
London is expensive, but that is expected
Great clubs and bars
I think there was many opportunities, however I did not participate in any
