Overview
The insight week involved panel sessions with employees at UBS as well as workshops for our development. We were introduced to the company and its departments. Also, there were good network opportunities throughout the week. It was inspiring to see how involved UBS is in philanthropy and how strong the culture is at the bank.
Skills
Yes, I developed my communications skills during the networking events. Also, I understood what main factors make a company valuable and good investments thanks to a workshop.
Business Insight
It was exciting to hear about all the opportunities there are within the company and finding what place suits me best. It was good to hear there are places for undergraduates to be prepared to join as a full-time after university.
Culture
My main takes were: - you have space to make mistakes -you are encouraged to take part in volunteering
Your Impressions
I found it great! I enjoyed getting to know the company and the role of each department. It was very informative and engaging.
Yes
Be yourself - that is what we were told throughout the week. UBS looks for a diverse workforce so they like seeing different people and other ways of thinking.
