Overview
My daily tasks depending on the time of the month consists of managing reconciliations for the EMEA region. I take requests from team members to reassign these and ensure these are completed and consistent with Disney's policies. I completed monthly/quarterly/annual surveys for Office of National Statistics and submit required information on the business' entities.
Skills
I have developed many new skills, such as improving professionalism, time management, managing multiple responsibilities at once and improving my communication skills when working in a team.
Responsibilities
I would say that I was given a large amount of responsibility once I had been properly trained in my tasks.
Support & Guidance
My team were very helpful and made sure that me and the other intern knew we could ask them for help whenever we needed. However, during busier times of the year it was sometimes harder to reach out to my managers as they were extremely busy.
Culture
INCREDIBLE! Disney is a very exciting place to work and the culture and atmosphere definitely lives up to the expectation! They always host events, character meet ups and have treats in the office which really boosted the mood of the office.

I LOVED MY PLACEMENT! I have had the best year of my life and have appreciated every opportunity I have had.

Make sure you do your research into Disney. You don't have to be a crazy Disney fan but you should research upcoming releases in the cinemas etc... Also, Disney as a company really focuses on the individual, be confident and friendly and you will get on fine!
