Overview
Job board coordination, asset and social media content creation.
Skills
Hard skills include use of the Adobe creative suite (Illustrator, Photoshop etc). Presentation skills, communication (written and verbal), and coordination.
Responsibilities
A lot of responsibility, I had support, but it was a very hands on full time role. I had the same responsibility as my colleagues.
Support & Guidance
A good amount of support and guidance. Admittedly, the team was over stretched and there was not a lot of time for training etc, but overall it was very good. I was supported throughout the journey and I found my feet in the end.
Culture
Positive overall, open and inclusive. Of course, you have some individuals who do not fit into the culture and do not share the same values, but I would say overall most people matched the culture.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed the second half of placement, I really value my team and my position in the company. I struggled working from and did not feel fully supported, however this changed with a change in team members/leadership.
Yes
Best decision I made, it is a great place to start your career. HR and TA are very supportive and will work hard to ensure that you are placed in the most appropriate part of the business for you. Take your time to learn about the company, and make sure that you are passionate before you apply. There are a lot of people who are very passionate about the work IBM does, this is very obvious in interviews.
