Overview
On a daily basis I manage 3 partners, this includes solving daily queries, creating quartley business plans and ensuring the partners expertise and coaching is up to date. I work closely with the VADs and distribution team to help source newly enrolled partners and increase engagement via the channel. I also monitor the Premier League Ticket allocation for the partner channel and take on any projects given to me by the A&C marketing team.
Skills
I have learnt how to use excel to a high level. Communication skills via email, phone call and in person.
Responsibilities
Yes, managing partners and being in control of the Premier League Ticket Allocation gave me the daily and weekly responsibilities of looking after an organisation or a platform.
Support & Guidance
I had biweekly calls with my line manager and monthly calls with my manager to discuss progress and projects. If I ever needed support I could ring either of them whenever needed, or the Head of HR.
Culture
Great work life balance. Very understanding if there was ever an illness or appointment. As long as the work got done that was okay. My team was very close and therefore it created a relaxed and enjoyable working environment.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement, I have extended it throughout summer. I hope that after university returning to Oracle will be a choice.
Yes
Make sure you get stuck into all the projects that are thrown at you. Ask questions and get involved.
