Overview
A week in a countryside hotel, with learning experiences in related fields to quant finance and talks with professionals in the field, mixed in with a healthy dose of activities and great food.
Skills
The learning workshops gave a great insight into the basics of a few fields, and the talks from the experts in various fields helped me to get a grasp on how those in the company think, as well as what the company values.
Business Insight
It was a helpful experience to see where I might fit in in both G-research and other similar quantitative finance firms.
Culture
The atmosphere was very welcoming and encouraging, helping to get everyone from those studying doctorates in related fields to undergraduates new to the field of quantitative finance engaged.

I very much enjoyed the insight and would recommend it to anyone interested.

Prepare well for the entry process, as it is quite challenging and spans a variety for topics that may not have necessarily been covered in your course.
