Plenty of responsibility. You are treated as a full time employee and supported as such. GE are keen to develop their interns and one of the ways they do this is through giving challenging tasks to their interns. While doing this there is a great network of support.
Support & Guidance
A surprising amount of support considering you are only with them for 12 months. I felt that I was supported professional during the intern and any future desires I have.
Culture
The culture was difficult to judge when joining through Covid and there definitely could of been improvement of communication through Covid but now we are coming on site 3 out of 5 days the culture and atmosphere is friendly and often fun. There is definitely a drive to bring people together and communicate better.

I enjoyed my placement year and would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a challenging but fun year with great support. I didn't think GE Aviation would suit me but they are looking to the future and there is a drive to have young people propelled through the business.
