The Role
It was quite enjoyable.
I took over the tasks of a colleague who left at the start of my internship, so I was the only one responsible for it afterwards.
My supervisor and colleagues were always happy to help me.
I always had something to do but I could also take a break when I felt like I needed one.
My tasks were not too demanding but also I was the only one who knew how to do them so I guess there was a certain level of responsibility.
I have learned how to work in a corporative environment and how to deal with other colleagues who are really busy as well.
The Company
Most of my colleagues were in a good mood but mainly focused on work although there were the occasional jokes.
It was alright overall, but HR made a lot of mistakes with our details, e.g. my name was spelt wrong multiple times in different ways!
We had weekly talks so as to learn about the company which were very useful.
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
My manager was really happy with my work and offered me a place as a full-time employee!
The Culture
Most people were really outgoing ad sociable.
It was quite expensive in comparison to other regions, especially for a student.
We went to a few pubs closeby but that's about it.
There were some sports teams that you could join which was great.
