  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was quite enjoyable.

  • I took over the tasks of a colleague who left at the start of my internship, so I was the only one responsible for it afterwards.

  • My supervisor and colleagues were always happy to help me.

  • I always had something to do but I could also take a break when I felt like I needed one.

  • My tasks were not too demanding but also I was the only one who knew how to do them so I guess there was a certain level of responsibility.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learned how to work in a corporative environment and how to deal with other colleagues who are really busy as well.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Most of my colleagues were in a good mood but mainly focused on work although there were the occasional jokes.

  • It was alright overall, but HR made a lot of mistakes with our details, e.g. my name was spelt wrong multiple times in different ways!

  • We had weekly talks so as to learn about the company which were very useful.

  • My manager was really happy with my work and offered me a place as a full-time employee!

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Most people were really outgoing ad sociable.

  • It was quite expensive in comparison to other regions, especially for a student.

  • We went to a few pubs closeby but that's about it.

  • There were some sports teams that you could join which was great.
