Overview
Working on an array of projects within different areas of marketing eg. branding and business development and eCommerce
Skills
I have learnt many skills including how to manage my time efficiently, how to act in a professional environment, IT skills and i have grown more confident
Responsibilities
Yes i was given plenty of responsibility however i never felt that i was given work without guidance which was key to me as i wanted to make sure i learnt a lot over the year. I was given projects and left to complete them in the way i saw fit but my manager was always available if i wanted help or had questions
Support & Guidance
I was given lots of support during my placement not only from my manager but from other members of my team and even other placement students. I always felt as if there was someone on hand to help me when i needed it
Culture
This was a remote placement so its slightly more difficult to answer this question. But the general atmosphere seemed extremely caring and positive
Your Impressions
I enjoyed my placement and it has given me a clearer idea of what i would like to do once i finish my degree
Yes
Definitely take this opportunity even if in the beginning you don't feel confident in your knowledge of the products, this can be learnt quickly
