I was given significant responsibility, such as leading on a government consultation and writing the engagement update sent to GSK's central leadership team.
Support & Guidance
Significant support and guidance. My manager and I met regularly three times a week and my mentor and I met once a week. Always able to arrange meetings and ask questions. Had development meetings in addition to regular catch-ups.
Culture
GSK's company culture is excellent. They respect the work/life balance, are an ethical company, and everyone is incredibly friendly. There are so many opportunities to get involved in any projects/topics you are interested in, even if it is outside of your role.

I enjoyed it. It was challenging and intellectually stimulating - I learnt so much about the industry and the skills needed. I would have liked more opportunities away from my laptop.
