Overview
Industrial placements have the responsibility of ensuring their project progresses, day to day tasks include researching the science behind the project, optimising experiments, partaking in group discussions and data analystics.
Skills
I learnt countless skills but if I had to pinpoint one it would be my ability to consisely and clearly communicate my thoughts in a group setting with confidence (which I was lacking previously). This has helped me push my project forward and engage in opportunities I was previously too insecure to take hold of.
Responsibilities
Was essentially in charge of my own project which although not affecting the project progression I and my manager saw value in. I was able to drive the project forward as I saw fit.
Support & Guidance
Always received help when needed. Manager always made time and so did other members of the team.
Culture
Relaxed and forward thinking. No judgment and always welcoming.

Found what im passionate about and what I wish to persue in the future - so definitely enjoyed finding myself!
