Overview
Day to day support of brand managers within the local region – events, social media, branding Building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their priorities and working to build attraction campaigns Day to day focal on IBM’s brand portal (Paipirfly) for the local region – including some approval / sign off and local enablement Day to day management of content updates and development to recruitment websites Responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of all Recruitment Attraction events during the academic year, including Careers Fairs, Presentations and Employability workshops at Schools, Colleges and Universities Social media campaigns – including managing and responding to all queries, creation of content, posting, etc

Responsibilities
I was given a huge amount of responsibility on my placement year. I was responsible for posting on IBM's corporate LinkedIn account along with setting up and running events practically on my own.
Support & Guidance
I was given a lot of support and guidance on my placement year which was great. You have 2 managers, a foundation manager and a task manager you are a constant support throughout the year but also my wider team were a great support.
Culture
The company has a friendly and supportive culture, and the general atmosphere is great!

I loved my placement year! It has been extremely valuable for kick starting my career and giving me exposure to marketing.
