Overview
Generally all task involve using Excel, looking at financial performance or measures of Honda's European Branches and Distributors. Throughout the month various financial reports are sent to senior management across Europe as well as meetings where the data is presented.
Skills
Vast improvement of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint. Increased IT competency. New presentation skills. Better communication skills and email structuring. New knowledge of Hyperion and SAP software. Improved Planning and Time management skills.
Responsibilities
Good amount of responsibility required to meet deadlines. Most tasks were done independently, with the ability to ask other team members for help if needed.
Support & Guidance
From individual team members high amounts of support and guidance usually with software used on a day to day basis, particularly in the early month of the placement Limited help from external sources
Culture
Relaxed working environment with a very friendly and helpful team
Your Impressions
Enjoyed to a large extent, thought generally speaking was a very good introduction to the working world and would recommend to others. In some instances felt could have been pushed and challenged more but only in limited circumstances.
