Overview
Responsible for Data Disposition within WREF portfolio: - Discovery, organization and migration of structured, unstructured and physical data - Managing and maintaining the scoping templates [scoping 1 & 2] ensure it is up to date and reflects the single source of truth and audit trail for all WREF Unstructured Data repositories - Supporting on communication out to impacted employees [transfer folders, migrations etc]. Involved in Bedrock project integrating sites from EMEA, APAC and Americas into the 'WREF Management' structure- cooperation with WREF PMO and building a new scope of sites.
Skills
Developed in data analytics and project management. I also strengthen my time management and communication skills during this time.
Responsibilities
Yes, I was responsible for data migration and communication within WREF. I was also responsible for change controls of a big project called Bedrock which aimed to incorporate sites under WREF management.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support. My team I worked in was very helpful and respectful.
Culture
Very good. You can see people smiling and respecting each other. GSK values such as integrity and transparency are on a high level and you can feel that everyone in the industry follow this.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement year. I learned a lot about myself and which direction I want to follow in the future. I had a great opportunity to get involved in massive projects and play a big role in it. I am really thankful for the new skills I developed and respect I got from everyone in the industry.

Be yourself and try to get involved in things which really interests you. There are many different options and GSK and everyone can find something for themselves.
