Overview
Create weekly and monthly reports on Excel. Attend team meetings with internal and external teams. Make sure all the data is correct and solve any problem raised. Reply to ad hoc requests
Skills
Developed my Excel VBA skills, pivot tables and learnt how to use PowerBI. Attended different internal trainings and used resources to improve my work Improve my communication and time management skills
Responsibilities
I was given weekly and monthly reports that were sent to more than 300 people. Most of the monthly review decks were based on the data from my reports. I could do all my reports on my own. Needed help from my manager on ad hoc requests
Support & Guidance
All my colleagues were understanding and very helpful. In particular my team and my manager have been really supportive on my work and my decisions.
Culture
Overall very nice. It didn't make me feel I was doing a corporate job. Very relaxed atmosphere. Many social events were organised, especially between placement students.
Your Impressions
It met my expectation of my placement year. I love the company and would certainly go back if i didn't want to explore more in a different field.
